Central Point, Oregon

Hi fam!

Sorry that I have been MIA lately. To be honest there hasn't been a whole lot happening here in Central Point. I still love it here a whole lot though. The ward is incredible and so willing to help. So to catch y'all up...
We were teaching this guy named Eddie. He seemed super solid. We had a pretty good lesson with him. After that he asked us to help him with getting some food, which we are fine to do but we have to go through the Bishop. Well he didn't like that, he also didn't like that we invited him to pray... That just goes to show he wasn't really ready. He is a super great guy, he just has some things to get over.

Yesterday we were at church for the 2nd ward and after sacrament we went to sunday school and there was a less active lady and her non member husband. Well they were super nice and invited us over to have a lesson with them on Wednesday. Then we went to the 1st ward sacrament meeting and same thing!! A less active lady with her non member husband and son came to church. Everyone was so surprised because they haven't come in awhile. Well they also invited us over Wednesday. So we will go have dinner and a lesson with them! We are so excited!
As of Friday we have been doing challenges everyday with our zone. It has been a blast. One day was to count how many people didn't answer their door and that got us a point. Haha. Todays is every compliment given we get a point. So the district (basically the zone divided in 2, or our team) with the most points gets to tape the other district leader to a wall and feed him spaghetti-os. Haha. It has been a fun week. Friday we also met this family. Ben and Mandy are the parents. Kennedy (7) and Addie (2) are the girls. They are so sweet.we went over and they were like we were just thinking we need a church. So we are going over friday!!

This week is transfer calls. So next monday I will know what is happening to the trio. I want to stay here so everyone pray for that haha. I love both my companions, and the trio is great. I am ready to go back to covering 2 wards instead of 3 though! For pday today we all went to goodwill and picked out each others outfits and then hiked table rock. So thats what the pictures attached will be :) Have a great week everyone!

Love, Sister Maddock.
