So I know I've been mega slacking on my weekly emails but I hope some how you'll forgive me:)So I will begin with key points of the last two weeks. Last Monday Sister Terry and I adventured downtown Summerville! Sister T is an incredible artist, like super incredible. So I treated her to a visit to the Summerville art gallery! On our trip we visited the worlds largest sweet tea, I bought cheeseburger socks, and we ultimately just enjoyed ourselves. Random throughout the week things are we met a cat with 26 toes, played soccer with our two recent converts, took my companion on a Valentines day date to Applebees, twinned with her for service, met a dog who could pull off a dress better than a human, one of my favorite people in the world gave me a beautiful CTR ring, and another member made me a necklace! Needless to say my life is an adventure every day and I love being a missionary. I also caught three frogs and a lizard. Pretty much I am living the life haha. But on a spiritual note, the gospel is true. I hope y'all have enjoyed our live Facebook videos every Thursday night, we love being able to share our testimonies openly over social media! I am the luckiest person in the world to have Sister Terry as my comp and I can't wait to become better friends in St. Geezy! I hope y'all know how much I love my Savior. I know without a doubt that our Heavenly Father loves us so much, which is why we have the Atonement. It is the biggest indicator of God's love for us. He wants us to be happy, He wants us to become like Him, and it is through the Atonement we do so. Our Savior stands ready to help lift us up through trials, disappointments, struggles, heartache, discouragement, pain, and any other emotion you can think of. Do Not Forget your Savior. We start to fall away when we start to forget. Remember Him always. I don't know if y'all are aware of all the crazy things that have been going on around this area but people are getting more and more afraid. There have been several kidnappings and there was the school shooting. We have people telling us everyday to be careful. But I am so grateful that I know what I know. I don't have to be afraid with the Savior by my side, but instead I go forward in faith and I am so lucky to be here to help people do the same. I love this gospel and I know it truly is Christ's church here on the earth, restored and stronger than ever. If you are struggling, have questions, or just need to feel of God's love for you, lean on the Atonement. I can promise as you do so, not only will you change, but your heart will as well and you will know without a doubt you are loved by your Heavenly Father. I love y'all as well and am here to help in anyway that I can. I am the worst at emails so I hope this made some sort of sense. I love you💕
Love, Sister Simons
