Jackson, Georgia

Sister Bennett

Cobblers, Ice Cream & more Cobblers

This week has been good and we are just rockin and rollin here in Jackson!
This whole week we were working on our hommade Cobbler & Ice Cream Devotional/competition we put on for our branch and it was great! We made little goodie bags, a few signs and a banner, and texted so many people and it was such a great night definitely an answer to our prayers! Jackson branch is a family and we had so much fun and I ate so many different Cobbler flavors! This week we also helped set up a baby shower so i think that is #6 party I've been here to help at the Jackson branch (these members sure love to party, and I never want to leave em haha)
This week I had really amazing personal studies! Here are some of my fav quotes Elder Hales- " Each of us must go through certain experiences to become more like our Savior"President Nelson- "The decision to serve a mission will shape the spiritual destiny of the missioanry...a desire to serve is a natural outcome of one's conversion, worthiness, and preparation President Nelson at yesterday's broadcast about the new program and something my mom also says alot- "you can do hard things"
General Conference is Saturday and Sunday so please please please watch it, to hear from our Prophet and Apostles! I am way beyond excited!
Quick recap: had too much fun shopping for groceries at Walmart, made some no bake cookies with a little too much peanut butter, we have an awesome district who make being a missionary even 10x more fun even if the elders pranked us that they went to the hospital, wore pants with Sister Bennett, picnic at the park, drove a couple times to Monticello, sent lots of texts and calls for people to come to our activity, also had a meme contest with our district, had some more fried green tomatoes and 10/10 recommend, helped set up baby shower, set up Cobbler devotional, wonderful night full of Cobblers and Ice Cream and I probably gained lots of weight this week haha, church was good and I am so grateful for priesthood power(more stuff about this next week) and preparing for general conference! Love yall and hope you have a blessed week! Love, Sister Mix!
