Hey! It has only been a few days since my last P-day haha but hopefully after today they will be back to every Saturday! Well not much has happened for 3 days but there has defintely been some adventures!
Yesterday Sister Blake and I went tracting(door knocking) for the sisters in Acworth and we went on splits with them. I went with Sister Hyland who was one of my plane buddies so we are both newer. BUT it was so much fun. Door knocking is fine becasue alot of people just barely poke their head out and arent interested but we had some good conversations with some people. Along with this adventure they left us without the car to meet them half way and we walked along Cobb Parkway which doesnt even have real sidewalks for a few miles but in total we walked 8.4 miles that day! That is crazy! We also ran to Cheeseburger Bobby's because we were so hungry but i can tell ya that those burgers were the best meal we've ever had in our life haha and it is not because we walked 8.4 miles since our last meal!Anyway from that whole day on splits with Sister Hyland we saw lots of miracles especially because niether of us were very experienced but we acted on our faith and we know Heavenly Father blessed us and we are crossing our fingers that we will be comps in the future!
Quick week recap: we did LOTS of less active paperwork and contacting them to have them come to the YSA branch, the pollen is actaully KILLING me(they say if you dont have allergies, you will in Georgia so rip me), the pollen also turns everything yellow like streets and colthes and my boots, we found a giant mailbox while tracting, laughed alot, we also did a district fast to help us become more consecrated missionaries and that was amazing and so cool, love Bojangles, love doing service for Donna at the Food Pantry, looking forward to more good food, but super excited for general conference and we all keep talking about it so everyone go watch it! Please email me and keep me updated! Love y'all!
Love, Sister Mix!
