Zdravo dragi prijatelji!!! Pogrešam vam!!
First of all here is a little update on fun mission thrills! -We met with 3 new people this week that I had met on Facebook (over video call)! Two of them I helped with English and the other girl just wanted to be friends with me because she thinks I'm fun.
But these meet ups were great because I got to share that I believe that the true church of Jesus Christ has been restored and about how this Restoration happened!
-There is a guy from Columbia that somehow found me on Facebook and I was able to get him in contact with missionaries over his area and they started to teach him- The Prophet gave his special message on hope this week. But before he did so, the missionaries in my mission were reminded that we are the messangers! We are the ones who need to make this message available to all of God's children! It was really inspiring to me and encouraged me to just share share share! Many people who I invited listened to his message so that was super cool!
Spiritual thought:I read an amazing article called "The Healing Balm of Hope" by Vaughn E. Worthen. I would suggest that everyone read it. But here are two things that stood out to me!《"Ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal” (Moroni 7:41).
This is the ultimate of all we might hope for. To possess this hope is
to believe that today’s pain is only a way station on the road to
deliverance. It requires patience with current circumstances. It is the
belief that there will be a coming day when “God shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain” 》I love the phrase, "God shall wipe away every tear" because even just reading that brings me so much hope! The struggles of our lives are not going to last forever! Someday we will get to rest from all of our cares and worries, but now is the time to grow our faith and hope that this day will come!
《Hope emerges and is sustained when we regularly discover reasons for it.
Capitalize on the small victories that unfold daily, such as completing
assignments, submitting job applications, reading your scriptures, or
exercising for a few minutes each day. These accomplishments provide
proof that effort is rewarded, lead to enhanced self-confidence,
contribute to effective goal-setting, and instill belief that success
can be achieved. Try to notice and celebrate at least two of these
victories each day.》
I LOVE THIS!! We all could be better about celebrating our little achievements! As we do this, I really believe our hope will grow as well!
