I wrote back to grandma & Ryan (which I'm so happy about because I haven't heard much from him), but that didn't leave me time to write to you. There is so much I want to talk about, but I'll sit down one night & write it for you this week. I do want to mention how I am
finding love for role-playing. Role-playing is something I do not like at all. But, it has help me so much! I wrote it in Ryan's email too. So, in our district meetings, we do role-plays after our training to help us grow in our teaching abilities. So, there's an Elder who is still figuring out some gospel principles. I've had him to role-play
with more than a couple times & at first I was impressed with his honesty but afterward I would get so nervous because I felt like I couldn't help him. It's crazy because he's a missionary too! Haha. I've been praying on how I could help him if I get him in our role-plays again.
Well, last night we had dinner with a member & her family. We read from the talk by President Monson in this past general conference on Choices. It was very powerful. We were inspired to ask them each if they knew God loved them. In that moment I felt the spirit working through both of us. I really don't remember much of what we said, but I do remember Sister Dillman bearing her testimony. I bore mine & shared a story or two. I feel that all those role-plays helped me find the spirit. It's amazing how God works & blesses you when you try your best to do His will. :) I also really LOVE your testimony about tithing! I had a thought about that this week too. Obedience brings blessings. Finding that out so much here in the mission field. Keep listening to the spirit & the amazement & joy that comes from it. :) I love you mom & everyone at home. I hope y'all have a great week!!
Sorry this was short, again I will write to you.
Love,
Sister Jacob
