Hermana Clark

Hello yall! I hope you are doing well with all of this crazy corona stuff going on. So sorry that you did not get this email on Monday..... I may or may not have forgotten about it.... BUT
This week was full of a lot. Monday: It was a pretty good pday. Around 6, we got a call from our mission president. He said that I would be going home that weekend because of my asthma. I am more likely to get Covid-19, so I will be sent home. I wasn't quite sure what to do with that, and I just wanted some good hugs. We took a break and biked to our Sister Training Leaders' apartment to let them know and then went home.
Tuesday:District Council! It was really good. We talked about diligence and how to make this time in quarantine (or as president likes to say: limited activity). I bore my closing testimony, answering the prompt of why my mission was a success. I can tell you that it is a success because I came to better love my Savior and understand His atonement. What it covers and who I can become because of that. I had the opportunity to connect and love people on a much deeper level than I ever would be able. I am so grateful for the chance I had to learn Spanish, to love the people of Texas and to serve my Father in Heaven.
throughout the week we had some great phone calls. One with Griselda! She asked when she could become a missionary and maybe she could go to Ohio or something. I love her so much! We told her that Texas needed her to be an amazing member missionary after she is baptized. She responded with an"Oh. I guess I will stay in Texas then. They need me." How sweet!
On Friday, my parents came to our apartment and took me home. On a good long drive. On Sunday, I was released as a full-time servant of the Lord. I will forever cherish the time i had in Texas and the people i met.
"Because I knew [them] I have been changed for good."
I love yall so much!
Con todo mi corazón,
Hermana Ludlow
