Hola mis amores!ย
This week was quite an adventure!ย
Tuesday:ย We had district council in the morning and played basketball with a family we are teaching, the Dominguez family, after English class. It was awesome! We haven't been able to connect well with the kids until then.
Wednesday:ย We started teaching these 2 cute 8 year olds. They are so attentive, and we are preparing them for their baptism! Funny story. We went by Sunday evening to set up a lesson with their aunt and one of the girls runs up to me, panicking and says, " I HAVENT FINISHED THAT CHAPTER YET!!" I reassured her that our lesson wasn't until Wednesday if this week and she sighed and said, " Phew. Okay."ย We also had a great lesson with Susie, Luis and Edwen! It was the first time we got their whole family involved. Taught them the plan of Salvation and loved it!ย
Thursday:The Dominguez family got married! It was so cute. When she walked in, he just started crying. They've been together for the past 18 years. It was so precious to see them married for time. I can't wait to help them make that for an eternity.ย Precious moment: they were taking pictures with the family and then they said, "Las misioneras!" They wanted a picture with us! How sweet is that!?ย
Friday:ย We had such a great lesson with a less active member who has been going through a lot of really hard things right now. I was able to relate to her situation and help give some ideas to help her work through it. That experience was such a testimony builder for me. God gives us trails for a reason! We may not notice it until we are out of them and someone else needs help, but He always prepares a way.ย
Saturday:ย This cute less active family had us over for a lesson. We taught them the Restoration using some jenga blocks. I knelt on the ground to help set them up as our lesson went. Well, I guess their youngest took that as an invitation to climb on my lap.... I'm not sure how many of you know, but missionaries cannot hold babies/kids in any way. So I kept my arms out and she climbed all over me. Kissed me many times on the face and kept hugging me. There was nothing I could do, and the parents just laughed! The hardest part was that I wanted to play with her, I just can't. ๐Ÿ˜•ย
Sunday:We had a lesson with Yesica! She is so cute!! She is deaf and doesn't know sign language. She cant read either. So we teach with power points and lots of pictures. Her family has their own way of communicating with her, but she just started to go to school! So hopefully I can start remembering some sign language!ย
That is all I have for yall. Oh and that we have transfers. Hermana Fackrell is leaving me ๐Ÿ˜ญ we have become best friends, but I know this isn't where it ends.ย My new companion is Hermana Clark! She is in a neighboring town, so I've already met her. More updates to come. :)

Love yall!ย
