Cinnamon Rolls, Opening your mouth and 4 Mexicans in a room

That sounds like the beginning of some bad joke. ha

Hello beautiful people! How are y'all this week?!
I MISS YOU

2 months! I have been in the mission for 2 whole months!!!!
okie dokie.

so. First. we had exchanges which are basically just I have a different companion for the day. I was able to go to San Angelo and missionary with Sister Fitts! It was awesome, and she is a huge example to me of positivity and confidence in Christ. But after exchanges we met to switch back in Eden. The halfway point between Brady and San Angelo. We ate lunch at this bakery there and let me tell ya. I had the most amazing cinnamon roll I have ever had. in my lifetime. little pieces of pecan. mmm. life changing. Not joking.

After this we went to teach Delfina who wasn't there, so we ended up teaching her granddaughter, Daniela! We had nothing planned and just started talking to her. I had the thought to take out my copy of the Book of Mormon. I didn't know what to say, but I opened my mouth, and it was filled. The words I said were not mine. Somehow I bore testimony of truths that I knew. That I hadn't thought about in a while. The spirit was so strong, and I finally knew what it felt like to be an instrument in God's hands. I was His mouth piece, and I know I still am. We invited her to pray to God and ask Him if she was ready to make the first covenant with God. The next morning we followed up and.... SHE IS ON DATE TO BE BAPTIZED! She is one strong chica, and I am so happy I got to be part of her journey back to her Heavenly Father. She is absolutely amazing! So please keep her in your prayers. Daniela Hernandez. September 14th :)

Now. For the 4 Mexicans in a room. We had the most incredible lesson that night. (yes, this is all in one day) The Ortiz family and another we have been for a while AND a less active member. oh wow. we taught about the Restoration and when we got to the First Vision and talked about Joseph Smith, my heart wanted to burst. Ivan was mind blown about a boy seeing God and his wife knew about it! Demetrio and Rosie were able to add their testimonies and what they knew to the conversation. IT WAS POWERFUL! We have another lesson with them this week, and I'll have to let you all know how it goes. :) We did invite them to pray as a couple if the things we had told them were true, and we hope that will help them keep unity as they search for the truth. oh. and this was all in Spanish! Bonus!

I am so grateful for all of you and your desire to be close to your Father in Heaven.

Les quiero.

Hermana Ludlow ❤
