Sister Bauer

Hi family!

Okay can I just say this really fast..... GO MACEY!!!!!! WOOHOO YOU'RE THE (WO)MAN! haha I am in a library writing this right now so I can't express my excitement but holy cow I am so pumped for you! Someone send me one of those shirts with Macey's name on it so I can represent.... hahaha ;) I am so proud of you!! SUN DEVILS RULE. I am continually convincing all of the missionaries that ASU is the team to cheer for and I am totally winning. mwahahaha KEEP IT UP GIRL!!

This week was SO GOOD.

We got to go to the temple on Friday!!!!!!!!!!! It was the best. I thought of you Ken, I am so excited for you to be able to go through this Friday. It is an amazing place. I will be thinking of you. :) Wish I could be there, but a week apart isn't too bad! That worked out pretty well. :)

The next thing that made this week awesome was......... GENERAL CONFERENCE!!!!!

Better than Super Bowl for a missionary!! Seriously. It was so good. We invited so many people to watch it, and so many did! It made my heart so happy. My favorite was Sister Austin. She is an older lady from the Caribbean who we are working with. She came to the chapel with our investigator Julie and the Senior Missionary couple to watch conference and her expressions during the talks were so great, she was gasping and just SO excited about what she was hearing and learning. If only everyone would be as excited as Sister Austin!

I loved all of the talks given. They were so perfect for many of the questions I have heard and the struggles I have seen. I cannot wait to read them over and over again.

It was so neat to see President Clark speak too! I have a picture with him that I carry around in my purse #ClaimtoFame I am so lucky to be a student at a school that has such stellar leaders. Kids. Go to (a) BYU. It's the best.

In General Conference Vern P. Stanfill reminded us of a principle I would like to share:

"There is no darkness so dense, so menacing, or so difficult that it cannot be overcome by light."

It is my hope that we can each do better at filling our lives with light. Surround yourself with good things.(Good people, good music, good friends, good thoughts, good food :), good books, good everything!) Fill your life with light, and the darkness of life as well as your hard times will be brighter. They will be made right (and light) through Jesus Christ who is the light and life of the world.

I know this to be true and I add my testimony as a representative of Jesus Christ to the testimonies of those who spoke to us this weekend, that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and that it is only through Him that we can become who we were meant to be. We can be strong, we can be good, we can do hard things with Him by our side and carrying us though.

I love my Savior and His teachings. I love each of you!!

I hope you have an amazing week!
