Great Wet Week

So this week we saw so many hearts softened definitely through the Lord and some good ol' persistence! I will just share a couple since I think most of my favorites were included in the voice recording this week.

My number 1 Favorite was with Mr. Blair. When we stopped him on the street he was soooo sooo angry and was just releasing everything on us. He went on and on rambling about seriously a bunch of random stuff that had really no relevance whatsoever. He was going on an on about it. He even told us that when he dies and he finds out that God really does exist that he wouldn't change his opinions or ways which was crazy to hear from someone and true doctrine haha. Then he told us that what we share about God and Jesus Christ couldn't be true because we smile too much. I kinda laughed inside at that. Conversations like these though can get me a bit frustrated sometimes though so I was praying like the whole time inside that something good would come of it and that I wouldn't be so angry inside. Apparently Sister Allen was feeling a lot of the same things and was doing he same. The conversation all of a sudden just changed and he didn't think we were Mormons but he started talking to us about the "Mormon religion" and was pretty much telling us the Joseph Smith story. The spirit was quite strong. We explained to him who we were and pulled out our Book of Mormons and shared some from Alma 32 with him. He had said something that linked really well to the chapter. His demeanor changed a lot and we were able to commit him to read the Book of Mormon. He was pretty excited and we are going to follow up with him soon.

Number 2 favorite was with a man named Billy. Apparently Sister Allen and her previous companion had found him months ago and we were in the area that he lived so we decided to go try by him because Sister Allen felt very strongly that we needed to. We got to his high flat building but she realized she didn't have his flat number with her. We really had no way to find or contact him and she said that he probably moved anyway. But as we left and were walking down the street we were talking and we hadn't had much success in this particular area but we just knew we were there for a reason. Then finally we see someone on the street to stop. We stopped him and it was him!!!!!!! So crazy! It was Billy!!! Sister Allen didn't even recognize him at first because I guess he was cleaned up a lot but it was so crazy and such a miracle that we found him! Plus he was our WWWW. It fit him almost perfectly. The only thing off was that he didn't have a neck tattoo like we had planned but her had the hugest scar down his neck. It was pretty crazy! We had a good lesson with him on the street. I guess he had moved and hadn't been in that area for a while until then and he was just there to pick up some of his last things from the move. It was amazing!!!

Number 3 favorite was just how crazy rainy it was this week. So freezing and wet!!!!! We were drenched this whole week!!!! Hence the picture of Sister Allens pruned feet. this is what happens when you walk around Scotland all day in the rain!!!! hahah

Love you all! Hope you have a wonderful week!

Love Sister Moore

It's so fun to hear about those miracles such as running into Billy. It was a great reminder that I need to look and expect miracles because they are always there. I love to read your letters - you can really feel the true joy that exists with you and your companion sharing the gospel. I also love the pics with all those rows of bushes. They bring back so many memories. Enjoy each day - those will be some of your most memorable experiences in life!! Lots of love, Tiesha
