Hermana Maxfield

Una Semana Milagrosa... No tenga miedo!

Hey everyone!

It has been an amazinggggg week! I don´t even know how to describe it.

We started out having a district meeting with our Zone Leaders here. Hermana Maxfield and I were kind of ashamed for our terrible numbers last week, but the meeting was WONDERFUL. They talked to us about fear and opening our mouths. I will share the scripture a little bit later in my email. Hermana Maxfield and I took that to heart and worked so hard. As you all know, we are doing the purification thing, so we have seen so many amazing things.

With Sarais, she is going to EFY this week so we are pretty sure she will be baptized next week. With Olisledy an investigator we have had for a while but wasn´t coming to church.... we have seen him progress so much. He has been reading the Book of mormon and he came to church! He immediately accepted a new baptism date and wanted to go to EFY this week too. He has so many friends in the church that we had noo idea that he had that many. We also had another lady named Franchesca and we thought she wasn´t going to progress. We had left teaching her for a month because she was never in her house, but when we returned to her house she had told us that she hadn´t found her Book of Mormon. I gave her a new one and she told me that it was a gift from God. We put a baptism date with her too and she accepted it. After that she said a sincere prayer that made me literally cry. She asked to know if all of these things that we are teaching her are true and she also asked Heavenly Father to help her to come to church so that she can be baptized very soon and change her life. I was just sooo blown away by how much people can change, but they have to let the Spirit touch them in order to do it!

There is sooo much more that I wanna say but the internet is acting up so I am going to share a scripture. It is in Doctrine and Covenants 33 verses 7 to 12. It says, ¨7 Yea, verily, verily, I say unto you, that the field is white already to harvest; wherefore, thrust in your sickles, and reap with all your might, mind, and strength.
"8 Open your mouths and they shall be filled, and you shall become even as Nephi of old, who journeyed from Jerusalem in the wilderness.
"9 Yea, open your mouths and spare not, and you shall be laden with sheaves upon your backs, for lo, I am with you.
"10 Yea, open your mouths and they shall be filled, saying: Repent, repent, and prepare ye the way of the Lord, and make his paths straight; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand;
"11 Yea, repent and be baptized, every one of you, for a remission of your sins; yea, be baptized even by water, and then cometh the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost.
"12 Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, this is my gospel; and remember that they shall have faith in me or they can in nowise be saved;"

I loved these scriptures because it tells us to open our mouths and that if we do, they will be filled. We just need to work with all of our might, mind, and strength. It talks about teaching repentance and baptizing converts. Then the end is my favorite... THIS IS MY GOSPEL. He is pretty much saying that we just need to trust in Him and that this is His work. That is what got me through this week and I am so grateful for personal revelation.

That not only applies to missionary work, but it applies in our lives. We need to give our Heavenly Father everything and trust in Him and His plan. Love you all and have a great week! Most of all, remember that your Heavenly Father loves you and has a great plan for you!

I attached some selfies from this week and a selfie from helping a member out. I don´t remember what the pictures are, but enjoy them!
