Last email from the DR

Hey everyone!

Sorry that I wasn´t able to write last week. There was an emergency with my comp, but everything is okay!!

I can´t believe that this will be my last email as a missionary in the Dominican Republic. Time has passed by so fast and I have learned SO many things and there isn´t time to type it all. I just wanted to take the time to thank all of you for your support and prayers. I have felt them all through out my mission. They have been a blessing for me. The mission is a lovely experience and I can´t wait to share all of my experiences! These passed two weeks have been super hard, but super edifying. I know that my Heavenly Father was helping me every step of the way and that the Atonement of Jesus Christ was helping me overcome my weaknesses. I have learned the importance of doing the small things like praying and taking time to read the scriptures. Those two things are SO important to help us to have the spirit with us and keep our testimonies strong.

Love this verse in the Book of Mormon. It´s in Moroni 10 verses 32-22. It says, ¨32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.
33 And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot.
That sums up all that I have learned on my mission and it is something super powerful. We can become more like Christ. If we love him with all our heart, might, mind and strength, He will help us in all that we need.

Love you guys and see you on Friday,
