Q: What do you do to help keep your cup full while serving a mission?
A: To keep my cup full on the mission, I pray or fast when I just feel like I can´t anymore. I try to think about the people and how much I love them and want them to have the same happiness as me. I try to see them in Heavenly Father´s eyes and put it all in His hands. I try to trust in Him. Also I pray to have the Spirit and really study the scriptures. I pretty much eat them up. I have found that the scriptures in Spanish are easier to study more in depth. I don´t know why. It's kind of in a simpler manner to read them.
Q: What do you absolutely love doing in the Dominican Republic?
A: Something I ABSOLUTELY love doing in the DR is talking to people about their lives and just sharing special moments with them. The people here are so special to me.
Q: What are you going to miss most when you come home?
A: I think the thing that I am going to miss the most is the people and how different the country is. They all have a faith really strong here and you can see that. The people are so open to share their lives and their experiences with you and the people in the US aren´t really like that.
