It sounds like you guys had a busy week! I hope you sent my love to those in
Nogales! By the way mom, I got your package!! Remember that it takes a bit
longer to get to Cerro de Pasco haha. The only reason it got here was because
the Mission President and his posse came up to do interviews and they brought it
along! It was wonderful by the way! You must have been led by the spirit because
I needed a new tooth brush, and then I've been wanting M&M's like crazy!!! It
was perfect!! Also it’s really cool that you met those two former missionaries
who were in Peru! And yah, the rosy cheeks are called chapitas. Some of the
missionaries get them too haha. But they're right that the people of Cerro are
great!! I'm actually sad, because we have transfers this week, and I feel like I
might go. They have transfers every 6 weeks, and zone conference at the
beginning of each month, to answer your question. :) But they do temple trips
fairly often, but because we're not in Lima, I don't believe that the
missionaries get to go. Maybe if they go to Lima for paper work, but I'm still
not sure, quite sadly. Also, I do get the messages and things sent to my email!
It’s great!!! Also, I still haven't heard anything from Camille!! But, I'm gonna
be sending another round of letters at the beginning of February, and there'll
be one for her!
Other than that, this week we've had two baptisms! It was great! One was Mierva,
who’s had 11 dates fall through before! But she was finally baptized and
confirmed! Then, Jaime! He's great! He's the one who had to be baptized again
because his records were lost! But he made it, and his family was right there
with them! It was great!!
Other than that, this week was fairly light. I was feeling well for a day so we
didn't go out, and that put our numbers pretty low, But otherwise, everything is
fantastic. A little bit more running from dogs and playing volleyball with the
cute little girls up the hill! But everything is going great! I loved your
scripture by the way. (“I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth
me”. ) It was perfect! Well, until next week mia familia!
