Still living it up here in Canto Rey - loving being with Hna Luna and serving here.
We are still struggling a little with the ward. There are a ton of inactive members because of drama that has happened here. I guess just a lot of bad feelings towards each other between the members. But we have a lot of plans and are excited to work and strengthen the ward.
This week I feel like we barely had time to breathe! On Monday we had the privilege to go visit Canto Chico and some old members there, including visiting a sister from there who had recently given birth. It was a long and crazy but FUN day running around and seeing people from there.
Both Wednesday and Thursday we had to go to the mission office for leadership council. We made some new changes in the mission and are excited to see how they work out! Plus I got to see my old companion Hna Mejía there (who is also sister training leader and I didn't even know haha) which was a blessing! For Halloween the stake did like a Karaoke activity and there were like 3 investigators - as we were leaving the stake in walked Maria and Edwin (my fave converts from Villa Hermosa). Wow what a blessing!! They are doing great and are active. Such a small world, his cousin lives in our area! And we are going to teach him tonight. We also had a picnic on the floor eating pizza and tacos and it was super fun.
We interviewed 2 of the companionships we are over - one including my daughter, Hna Bravo haha. I am thankful for the opportunity my Heavenly Father has given me to serve these sisters and the trust He has in me.
Sometimes I forget that I am ending my mission - it's crazy to think how fast time has past. I have come to love Peru and the people I've met here - I've learned so many things and feel that I am truly a different person. And that's the beauty of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - that there is everlasting conversion, and knowing that God is there with us every step.
I love you all and am thankful for your support and love!!
