Hi! This week was great :-)
Yesterday Luis Piñero passed the sacrament. and wow, to enter into the chapel and see him dressed in Sunday clothes for the first time, and then having him give me the bread and water made me shed a few tears. These are the moments that make everything worth it!Recently, our mission president, President Packard, invited us to write a blessing from the Lord everyday for 2 weeks, and see how much we can identify the Lord's love. I am thankful for this little exercise and I can really feel the Lord's love and His hand in my life. so if anyone is wanting to feel more of His love, do it! it works. There is a video from Elder Holland where he explains that the Savior's life was never easy. imagine that if He, the Redeemer of the world, didn't have it easy, then why would we have it easy? Last night I was reading in a journal my dear sister Ally gave me and I found a quote from Elder Holland - "I am not certain just what will our experience be on judgment day. but I will be very surprised if at some point in that conversation, God does not ask us exactly what Christ asked Peter; 'Do you love me?'" A powerful point to ponder on.To think about the atonement and how much He did for us, we have oh so much to be thankful for. Thanks to Him, we have the way to go back home to the Father again. Thanks that He suffered, we have the opportunity to be with our families again. And when that day comes that the Lord judges us, I know that we will feel even more grateful for the sacrifice of Christ. He made everything possible!I love you all, and I hope you have a grand week full of the love and gratitude for His blessings and love.
All my love,
