Hello loved ones!
What a blessing it is to have a living Prophet of God here on the earth today. Wow, we are so blessed!I personally was a huge fan of General Conference. I loved the amount of times that missionary work was talked about, especially directed towards the members. I have a strong testimony about the impact members of the church have on the conversion of others. I remember when I lived at home in Arizona, our family was able to help our neighbor and friend, John, learn about the restored Gospel. That was a testimony builder for us as a family about the church, but I know that the members have a big role in helping the people around us. Also, the amount of times they talked about repentance called my attention. I have a strong testimony about the power of repentance, and the blessing it is. I am so thankful for the Atonement - the suffering and death of Jesus Christ, and the opportunity we have as children of God, to be made whole again, and be washed clean from our oh so many mistakes. I just love the Gospel, haha :-)This week we met Nicolas! We taught him about the Restoration of the church, and when we talked about the baptism of Jesus, he told us he wants to be baptised in our church. He has always had the desire to be baptised, but he was younger than 18 and his parents wouldn't let him be baptised.I told you all about Maria Elena and Eduin last week - the family who likes to listen to church music. yeah, they have my heart haha. They accepted to be baptised! They are amazing :-)We had interviews with our mish president - so grateful for President Godfrey and the amazing leader he is! He helps me a ton!well everyone, remember that I know this church is true! I love the Gospel with all my heart as I said before, and I am thankful to have the Lord's name on my chest :-)all my love!Hermana Andreasen
