This week flew by so fast, how is it already Monday again? I celebrated my 7 months this week! I can't believe I'm already over a 3rd of the way through my mission. Where has the time gone?! I also found out that George, from my last area moved up his baptism date to the 24th!!! I am so excited for him. I hope I get to go!
Monday was a blast, as usual. We played some scatter ball and chair soccer. Both of which I failed, but it's always fun playing.
Tuesday I made a bunch of cards. I've gotten into writing letters a lot lately. If you ever want one, email me with your address and I would be happy to send one. We had a service and a Lesson with Neela, taught her about prophets and apostles. We also had a lesson with Millie. She's been doing really well and has been praying more, but she hasn't recognized any answer yet.
Wednesday was a super long district council. But the Witters bought us pizza so it was okay. And the trainings that were given were awesome! We went split knocking. Which basically means you switch companions and go knocking. Sister Shumway and I went knocking together! We testified to a few people but didnt have any success. Overall people were really nice, and it was fun.
Thursday we had another Lesson with Jesse. We answered a bunch of his questions. He said he wasn't ever going to become a member, but he liked studying it... ): We also had another service/lesson with Neela. I am a pro at installing 1 way mirrors, haha. She is doing great!
Friday we were able to clean up the church building again. It was fun seeing the district and making everything look great. We didn't have any lessons, but we did get to do a TRC with the Elders. It was so fun and it went really well. My teaching has improved so much!
Saturday I went on Exchanges to Brookdale with Sister Mounteer and Ahmu. It was so much fun! We did a bunch of service. And met some cool people. All of our lessons fell through, but we were able to fill our time. WE CAN GO TRACKTING! just got the news this morning. So we went door to door instead of teaching. Most people didnt open their door, which was sad.
At one house, there was a lady who yelled "Coming." We heard several people on the other side, and footsteps. Then the door handle started turning. I'm guessing she looked though the peep hole, because very slowly the door handle turned back and we were left standing there really awkward. Hahaha, it was so funny.
Sunday we had 2 people come to Church!!! Millie usually comes, but it was still good to see her again. And also Neela came!!! She thought it was way too short and she had a couple questions. But overall she Loved it!!! We aslo went knocking and had someone invite us back! Hopefully they will be there and we can start teaching them.
Thanks for reading another letter. Thank you for all of your prayers, keep them coming! Please pray for the people I am teaching. Millie, Neela, Jesse, and Sam.
Love you Bunches!
