20 anos !!
Helloooo everyone!
Turned 20 this week, I feel old now because I'm not a teenager anymore buttt thank you for all the sweet bday messages it meant so much to me!
I had a unique opportunity to go to the temple everyday this week. The amazing thing was that I was able to learn something new every single time I went. It was so nice knowing that everyday I got to get away from the world for 2-3 hours. The peace and comfort in the temple is a feeling I never want to take for granted
We met a family this week. There names are James, Rose, and Rosa. This family has gone through so much in the past 2 years. And we met them this week and taught them the Plan of Salvation. It was so cool to see their eyes light up and be so excited to learn about God's plan for each of them. They told us they're coming to church and going to start reading the BoM. Sooo if you could please pray for this family that they can continue to learn about the gospel. And have the help and comfort they need for their family
I loved the quote from Gerritt W. Gong, "We are less alone when we realize we are not alone. Our Savior always understands."
I have a strong testimony in this paragraph. I know we are not alone we can feel the Savior beside us always and trust that he will give us the strength to keep going, and endure the hard days. I know he loves us, I know that he knows us, not only knows us but knows us perfectly. I know he's the only source of peace in this life.
We had the opportunity to hear from Elder Holland and he emphasized the importance of enjoying every second of my mission. So I'm gonna make the most of the time I have because I'll never get it back and its the only time I get to just focus on the lord and the work.
We have Transfers tmrw and I'm getting moved to Layton and I'm training a new sister again so I'm excited to see what this Transfer has in store
