Ivan got baptized

Lots of miracles happened this week, and I know it was all in the lords hands and timing. We got to go to the temple on Tuesday as a district. Miracle #1 we weren't able to get an appointment online however we just walked in and they were able to fit us into the appointment with our district. Miracle #2 Sister Mueller put Ivan's name in the prayer role for the temple. That night Ivan said he would be baptized that weekend. And he was!!
On Thursday we had District Council at the Family Search Center and we learned more about how we can help our friends find their family and connect them with their ancestors. Miracle #3 we had a lesson with our friend Abraham who got baptized a month ago and we got him set up on family search to find some names so we can go to the temple with him this Saturday for the first time. We played soccer a lot this week which is one of my favorite ways to connect with people. Miracle #4 alot of our non member friends showed up to play and loved it! Also I scored a couple goals so another miracle there haha. Sunday we were rushing around trying to find a Baptismal suit. For some reason we could not get a hold of anyone. Miracle #5 we finally decided to go to a random stake center. Their were people there so we crossed our fingers and ran inside to check. We thankfully found someone who had keys to the font and there were Baptismal suits in there we got to use.
Ivan's baptism was so sweet. He came out of the water smiling and was so happy. Hermana Mueller and I got to do a musical number to "Señor, yo te seguiré". One of my favorite songs ever. I love the last verse:

Savior, may I love my brother
As I know thou lovest me,
Find in thee my strength, my beacon,
For thy servant I would be.
Savior, may I love my brother—
Lord, I would follow thee

I love the part "find in thee my strength, my beacon" I think that is something I have been focusing on alot lately is finding my strength through God and Jesus Christ. It's definitely not easy. It takes alot of trust, faith, repentance, and hope. But we really can find strength through them. The most important people we need with us always is Jesus Christ and God. They can make the hardest of days easier. They can make our lives happier, and help us become better people if we let them into our lives.

Que tengan una buena semana todos!
Adios!
