What a weeekkk!
On Monday we had Zone Unity Day. So Sister Nagel and I were asked to help put it all together along with other missionaries. It was so fun tho! We went on a little hike (ik mom I actually liked the hike...crazy) and then we ended back at Presidents house and had a BBQ. It was such a nice day out which was great. After the BBQ we went to the church and played pickleball and basketball. I played basketball for a little bit and basically got my ankles broken. I definitely need to practice so I can beat them next time.
We had our last District Council of the Transfer. 3 of the elders in our district are going home, so we had a funeral for them at the very end. Sad day. Can't belive it's already a new Transfer because it flew
www by. In DC we talked about how important the 3 primary colors are in the work. Which are Prayer, Scripture Study, and Attending Church. If our friends aren't doing these 3 things, their faith will not grow. So this week Sister Nagel and I really focused on doing that for our friends. It was amazing to see the difference in the lessons. And how our friends connected alot more with christ.
We got to go to the Temple with Karen and Lizz! It was such a cool experience. We did baptisms with them at 9pm on Saturday. I was able to be baptized for 21 of my family members who had passed on. The spirit that is in the temple is really the best thing ever. Sometimes I wish I could never leave. I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to do baptisms because as a missionary you can only do that with your recent converts! Karen and Liz are amazing people and I'm so grateful for their desire to go. When they both finished doing their baptisms for their very close family they both came and gave us the biggest hugs. I know that they knew this is where they needed to be. I'm a firm believer temples bring everyone closer together.
We had Transfers and I found out.....I'm going to Spanish! I'm so excited/nervous/grateful/and scared to learn the language! And teach those that need the gospel in their life.
I freaking love Sister Nagel she is one of the most driven, obedient, funny, happy, and selfless missionaries I have ever met. And I'm sooo sad to be leaving her. But I know it's what's best. Another Sister needs her training skills. She's that good. I'm so excited to see what next Transfer has in store for Hermana Mueller and I!
Love you all!
Have a great week!
