Sister Hope Kelleher

Temples and Splash Pad

Hello fam!

We finished our Zone Temple Trip’s since the last time I wrote an email and it was so much fun. I hope we can do another one soon. We had the Snowflake, Gila Valley, and Tucson Zone’s. The Snowflake and Gila Valley were an overnight trip at our Mission President’s cabin in Snowflake.

We had a lot of fun but they put Sister Kelleher and I downstairs where we saw spiders, centipedes, and mice all within 10 minutes of being down there. It’s pretty safe to say that we didn’t get a lot of sleep that night. But we were able to get to know each other a lot more in that night which was a lot of fun.

The Tucson temple the weekend after was amazing! There’s something about that temple that is so special. I’ve grown an even deeper testimony of the temple. The world today is crazy and unpredictable, but I can always count of the consistency and peace of the temple. No matter which temple you attend, it’s always the same.

During the summer program at Lauren’s the splash pad opens for the kids to play in. We have a lot of fun with it but mostly because us teachers are pretty close with each other and are competitive, so we just spend the 30 minutes seeing who can soak the other more haha.

I hope you all have a good month!

Sister Wearne
