Sister Scott

Good-bye Newark 1st

Well, there you have it ladies and gents!

My time has come and gone to be in the wonderful Newark 1st Ward.

After lots of tears and a whole day of denial I have accepted that it is time. 😉

Oh how thankful I am for the time that I have been so blessed with to spend here.

The amazing families and individuals that I have been so inpired by have forever changed my life!

Reflecting on my time here has brought me back to one of my favorite stories in the Book of Mormon, in Mosiah 18.

This is the chapter where Alma is preaching in the waters of Mormon and baptizes 204 souls... in this special place where they were filled with the word of God. In verse 30 it says,

" beautiful are they to the eyes of them who there came to the knowledge of their Redeemer; yea, and how blessed are they, for they shall sing to his praise forever."

Newark, Delaware has most definitely been the place where I have truly come to the knowledge of my Redeemer. And for that, I will always hold it dear to my heart.

But, onward and upward! To whatever God may have in store for me.

I also cannot let this week go by without expressing my gratitude for my amazing companion and friend, Sister Scott. How blessed I have been to spend 12 weeks with this amazing person! She taught me what it means to be a true and devoted missionary and friend. She's the kind of person that moves mountains. And, I am so thankful for her. Going to miss my best pal and all of our fun times.

I hope that you all have a wonderful week! Rely on the Savior more today than you did yesterday.

All my love,
Sister Munson
