He's there, He cares

Hey there cute people,

How is it going?

Things are great here in Newark. It was such a wonderful week! I honestly have never felt so close to the spirit in my whole life like I have over this weekend.

I have just felt especially near to Heavenly Father and to Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for them and their presence in my life.

Mosiah chapter 24 says,

"And it came to pass that so great were their afflictions that they began to cry mightily to God..

And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord came to them in their afflictions, saying: Lift up your heads and be of good comfort...

I will.. ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs.."

I am so grateful for a loving and mindful Heavenly Father who knows us and knows our circumstances. He cares for us so greatly and knows the intentions and desires of our hearts! He can ease our burdens. Quite frankly, He has already personally born them for us. So try to turn to Him this week, give Him the load which you are carrying, and let Him help you.

"..He will take upon Him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities"

He is right beside you, ready to run to your aid!

I am so thankful for this gospel. I know that it is true. Jesus Christ is my Savior, Reedeemer, and dearest friend. He makes this life a joyful one!
