Hi! Well, it is official I am a Maryland girl.. and it feels good I will not lie. (;
It has been a wonderful week, and very very crazy! We were blessed to move out of our horrible apartment and into an amazinggggg and super nice one. Feeling blessed! Really though, it's been the greatest thing in the whole entire world to have a real kitchen without a rotting sink and to have real blinds on the windows and to have clean carpet and good mattresses and no scary neighbors or illegal smells... the list could go on and on. All I have to say is I am so blessed to be stateside... definitely what the Lord knew I could handle. - HA.
But really that has consumed a lot of the week. Quick recap though... We got two new investigators this week, Leroy and Sameerah. So I am so excited about that! I got to be on an exchange on Friday with Sister Stubbs while our comps were at their departure temple session, Saturday we had our area seventy with us to do some Uniting Families Initiative visits, and Sunday Sister Durrant and I spoke in sacrament on families!
It was kind of a common theme, leaving me feeling so so so thankful for my amazing family! They are my best pals, my lights, my rocks, my everything. I love you so much, family. And I am just so blessed to have been born and raised in a Christ-centered home. I know that by building our families upon Jesus Christ we will have strength and love and unity within our walls.
It was a great week and I am looking forward to this week. I get my new companion tomorrow morning. Boo. :( I am so sad to be losing Sister Durrant so quickly. She is the kindest, most loving person. She is SO patient, so obedient, so humble! She has truly led by example and love. I am going to miss her so much. So blessed and thankful to have had her. BUT I am excited to get my next bestie tomorrow, too!
I am thankful today and every day for the love and support that I feel each morning that I wake up. Thank you all for the emails, prayers, and love! I truly feel it and am so thankful.
