Sister Durrant

Happy happy happy

Hello hello!

I have had the most wonderful week. I honestly can't believe that it's already Monday!

It's been a week full of meeting lots of people, many lessons, and laughing!! Haha Sister Durrant and I have just had a lot of fun. I love her so much.

We have a new mission focus... and it's all about meeting and talking with as many people as possible and inviting them to hear a gospel message. We have to report how many we get each day, so the competitive part of me likes it so much. It's been so fun to work hard each day and try to get higher than the last!

Yesterday when we were tracting when asking the question, "Would you be interested in hearing a special message about Jesus Christ?" We had 2 people be like, "Uhh well.. I'm not really.. Mormon". Hahahahahaha like yes, we figured you weren't, okay have a good day!

We also got two new investigators this week!! Yay!! Derrick, who is 12 and so darn cute. His grandma is a member and finally got his parents to agree to let him take the discussions.. this is an investigator we can't take too much credit for (; but still! He wants to be baptized and wants to get the Priesthood so that is SO awesome!
The other is Jessica... Oh, Jessica. She keeps us on our toes!
But I am just so thankful for them, and I am thankful for the opportunity to teach. God has really been blessing Sister Durrant and I with people who are ready to learn about Jesus Christ. We are so blessed!

We had all four of our investigators at church on Sunday.. which just really was the greatest thing in the whole wide world! Before we got here, the most they had had in months was just one! So, we are so happy!!!!!!

I am so blessed to be a missionary for Jesus Christ. This week it has brought me so much JOY.

I just wanted to share my favorite quote from conference...

Life is different for each of us. We all have a time of trials, a time for happiness, a time for making decisions, a time for overcoming obstacles, and a time for taking advantage of opportunities.
Whatever our personal situations may be, I testify that our Heavenly Father is constantly saying, “I love you. I sustain you. I am with you. Do not give up. Repent and endure in the path that I have shown you. And I assure you that we will see each other again in our celestial home.” -Elder Zivic

I know this to be true. Heavenly Father is most definitely cheering each of you on! No matter what phase of life you are facing at this time. The happy, the hard, the in between... please turn to Him. He will lead the way.

I love you all.
Sister Munson
