We're halfway there!! Livin' on a prayer!
Hello!!!
So we had transfers and my new companion is Sister Jeppson!!! She's pretty amazing and her ideas blow me out of the water.
I have been out 9 months now! Don't know what happened to the time...
We got to volunteer at Parker Task Force again and they sent us home with a bunch of food!!!
I found a pretty cool chapter in the Book of Mormon this last week. Its Alma chapter 5. It's all pretty good but verse 14 caught my eye:
"And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?"
"Have ye received his image in your countenances?"
I love this because as your heart begins to change and you become converted to the Lord, how you look physically will change too. You will stand confidently, firmly and steadfastly knowing you are on Christ's side. Christ's atonement has already won the war. As we turn to Him and have His image in our countenances, He well help us win our individual battles.
