Hey family and friends
So i am very happy and sad to announce that I will now be leaving Jaro. After serving there for 8 months I truly fell in love with all the people and the area! But I am also excited for this new adventure. Me and sister Ragas will now be transferring both to Antique. We will still be companions but we will also be getting another companion. Antique is super mountainous and far away from the city so I am so excited for this new challenge. Also they do not speak Hiligaynon so I will be speaking Karay-a and Tagalog! After emailing today our mission leaders will pick us up and drive us to our new area! So next week I am sure I will have a lot of stories for y'all. Pretty hard to leave our area especially because Nanay Sibulangcal has her baptism this friday so we will miss it:(
This Friday we also have a mission wide conference with Elder Renlund and so we are all super excited. Salamat for all of your support and love! Halong permi!
A few others facts from our phone call...
Megan tried squid for the first time. (see picture)
They were helping with a baptism that the Elders were having. When they got to the church the water was not working at the church bldg. They had to haul water from a water storage container to fill up the font.
