THIS WEEK WAS SO AMAZING. THERE DEFINITELY AREN'T ADEQUATE WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT. The Lord blessed us SO MUCH. It's amazing what The Lord will do when He has willing and obedient servants. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not saying I'm anywhere near close to the perfect servant...but man, I am sure trying, and it's awesome that The Lord accepts me for who I am. Imperfections and all!
TRESOR MAYEMBO WAS BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!!! He is from the Congo and he is so super duper solid! It was awesome to see him be baptized! His baptism was at 11 and we waited and waited for him, when 11 finally rolled around and he still wasn't there, we were panicked. Satan works SO HARD on people they are getting baptized because IT IS SO IMPORTANT. So we drove over there and it turns out that his alarm didn't go off and so luckily our knocks woke him up! We drug him out of bed and to the baptism and he was so happy! It's like he's a totally different person! I'm so happy for him!
We had another really cool experience yesterday! We were out knocking doors and as we were knocking, this lady answered and told us that she was Athiest because she studied Biology in college and she just didn't see any proof of God. She was raised in an Indian family and she was really outcasted by the people in the religion her family was apart of. She let us come in and share the message of the restoration with her. At first I was really worried because I had never taught an Athiest person before but as we were teaching I realized that she didn't know anything about Christianity because she was raised in an Indian religion. As we were teaching her, the spirit totally softened her heart and she even prayed at the end. The spirit was SO STRONG! As we walked out, we realized that we had just been instruments in helping one of God's children reconnect with Him. His love for His children is so strong! Never ever forget how much Father in Heaven loves each and every one of you!
I do too!
