Hey, how are you doing? Sister Tetreault and I have been seeing so many miracles in our area! Our area is doing great right now and we have found a lot of potentials and a few solid people to start teaching! All glory be to God for the miracles we have seen! I'll share just a few of the miracles that we have seen this week. We talked to this lady named Lisa at Walmart the other day and she said it had been a rough week. She was very touched by our testimony to the point of tears. She was very open to learning more. Another miracle that we saw this week was from the people the Bishop wanted us to go visit. We went to Sister Smith's house and she said that she had a stepdaughter who wanted to take the discussions along with her daughter and be baptized on the same day. It was such an amazing miracle! I felt so grateful to our Father in Heaven! The last miracle I will share was at church on Sunday we had a guy named Dave show up to church with his wife Kristina and kids. I had seen Kristina at church with her kids before and hadn't ever seen him. Dave after church wanted to learn more and take the discussions from the missionaries. Dave said that he had a lot of positive vibes at church! For studies this week I've been in the Restoration and the Plan of Salvation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Laws and Ordinances, and the Book of Mormon. I have loved studying the Plan of Salvation this week and thinking about the Fall of Adam and Eve. I just think of Eve and what an example she was of doing the right thing even when it was hard. As a missionary we have to do what is right for the people we are working with even when it is hard to let go of them.
Sister Tetreault is from Las Vegas and she goes home about a month from now. She is a funny, sarcastic, and a very caring person. We have so much fun together too and have hit it off from the beginning! We went to Chic-fil-a in Ann Arbor on EMU campus last Monday and I haven't had it in so long (I was so happy to go there). It hasn't really snowed a lot here but it has been cold. Anyways, I hope that you have an awesome week!
