3rd Area

Hermana Welch

3rd Area Transfer

Hello Family! What a last week it's been together in the best Colefax sisters district trio ever😊 This past week we worked more in sister Tui's area because she had more investigators as well as a baptism. It was a fun change and I'm so thankful for the opportunity I had to meet these two wonderful sisters. We will be friends forever and hopefully we serve around each other again soon! This transfer with our individual struggles we were able to come together and solve problems, help sister tui with her comp going home, and build some amazing friendships. We enjoyed attending the temple this past week on wed and we got some cute pictures together which I will send next week. The temple trip was wonderful and I personally received some answers to some prayers which great. I love the opportunity we have as sons and daughters of God to literally enter into the house of the Lord and to feel his spirit and love more abundantly in our hearts. I love to see the temple and I'm so thankful to be a member of this church because I know the tools that God gives us are to help us eventually get back to him some day. This week was very enjoyable with HMN Welch and Sister Tuitavakee, and I'm sad to be leaving them! I know that Heavenly Father answers prayers because I asked for him to place me in a position where I can grow a lot this transfer and finally reach the best missionary self I know I can be through exact obedience. The answer I got wasn't what I expected and it's not going to be easy but I know that he trusts me and wouldn't give me anything I can't handle. I've done tough things before through my 9 surgeries so those were some good practice for the mission field. Sometimes I don't understand why things happen in life but what I do know is that when you put your full trust in God everything will be ok. The mission is the perfect place to learn, grow, increase your faith, make eternal friends, and strengthen your personal relationship with your Father in Heaven. I'm thankful for the support that I've received from my family and closest friends back home- they all make a difference and I can feel everyone's love and support. This week for my 20th birthday HMN Welch and I went out to the Cheese Cake Factory and celebrated which was fun. Unfortunately sister Tui was on exchanges at the time but we saved her a piece of carrot cake (: This week we taught a wonderful lesson with Hermano Gonzolo and with the help of Sister Tui it was great. Afterwards she said that she felt the spirit so strongly and said some nice things about the way HMN and I teach in unity. It's nice to hear some feedback because you can't see yourself teaching! The spirit was so strong and we all 3 sung nearer my God to thee for Gonzolo in spanish which was fun. Yesterday we said goodbye to Hermano and told him that we would be leaving the area and he was sad to see us go but was grateful for the time we spent with him and the lessons we taught with him. He's a great guy and I'm thankful for the opportunity that I had to see him learn and progress and learn how to feel the spirit and accept God in his life. This transfer I know that it's going to be one of growth and learning opportunities. I have a lot of work to do and I'm ready to work hard and see the fruits of missionary work. Something that I'm going to work on this transfer is Christ Like Communication. It's something that was discussed in zone conference recently and I feel impressed to learn about how the Savior communicated to the people he taught and was close to. He's such a wonderful example to me of PURE LOVE and charity. So I'm excited to learn from the best teacher and missionary that ever walked the earth! I know that by increasing our love and by communicating with more loving words to others we will have the spirit within our hearts continually. I think my theme for this transfer is going to simply be LOVE.💙 I love the gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that I'm a daughter of God and that he blessed me with a wonderful family here on earth to learn and grow together. I really appreciate all of the kindness and thoughtful emails I've received this week and the previous from my friends and family. Thank you for your support and prayers!
Take care,
Hermana Angell
