Hi Hermana Angell,
I hope all is going well with you this week and your investogator Gonzolo is progressing. I was listening to a talk today and it reminded me of the importance to getting investigators to ask their questions so missionaries can teach that is needed to answer their questions vs. What we think investigators need to know. Kind of like what I suggested as an approach to people regarding getting them to talk about their questions and problems so you can tailor your response to how the Book of Mormon and the Lord can answer them. You might, if you have not tried, asking your investigators to right down their questions so you can address them one at a time and check them off once they are satisfied with your answers. Just had to get that out.
How is your conjugating coming along? Can help you on that one. I can hardly spell as you know.
I had another Mariah experience. You mentioned last letter that you felled blessed and your families love for you with all the letters we sent you. I want you to know that I prayed specifically that you would feel that week an extra measure of love and support from your family because we are here for you and wanted you to feel that reality. How your family back home loves you so much. It sounds like my prayer was answered. Little tender mercy!
Mom is in Idaho. I sent her off Friday night on the plane. See had not been to the airport since sending you off. Interesting experience for her she told me when you got on the plane.
I took the kids to the Trailer Saturday afternoon. We have honestly not been to the Trailer since July 4th weekend. There was trick o treat Saturday night and a pitch in dinner pork roast. I need to close down the trailer this week.
Work going ok, just a lot of work. I have another 36 names for the kids to take to the temple this week for their first baptism for the dead. I sent mom off to Idaho with a stack of names and the Woodlands kids spend most of the day in the Rexburg temple taking all the names form Initiatory to Sealing. Kind of fund.
I thought of you when I read this scripture today on Church:
"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Cor 4:6
I know you like light. What is your favorite topic to study right now?
Hanna Perryman is coming home on Nov 11th. She speaks on Nov 15th. It will be interesting to hear her report. I am told Richard asked to not be a Zone leader anymore and go back in the field to teach. I guess he request was granted. Has your STL come visit you in your new area? Are you making progress finding where to focus your attention to find the elect ready to listen to your message?
Well, take care and I can't wait to read your letter.
Love you always,
