Hola everyone! I am officially in MY MISSION, writing this from the mission home!!! I dont have a lot of time and this keyboard is Spanigh but I am so happy and excited!! It was a four hour trip from the CCM, we left this morning at 4 am and it was the bumpiest and most BEAUTIFUL bus ride ever!!
We were greeted by our trainers and our mission president and his wife, and they are all so nice and they took a picture that I will be able to send next week probably.
As far as my last week in the CCM goes, it was very busy but awesome! Sunday for example...I played the piano in Relief Society, then taught the lesson, then played the hymns in sacrament meeting, then sang in a special musical number, then directed the music for the devotional. Whew! But it was good stuff. We had a lot of fun together as a district and it was hard to say goodbye. We have done everything together for 6 weeks and now we wont see each other again for months at best, but we are all so excited to get out of the CCM and go out into the field!!
We talked a lot yesterday about all we have learned in the CCM. To be honest I learned mostly Spanish the first few weeks, and hardly any Spanish at all the last few weeks...but I learned so much about the gospel, about the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and about answers to prayers. I am so grateful for the chance to be a missionary and I love the Lord and I love all of you!
Happy Thanksgiving!!! Thanksgiving isnt a thing here, but I will have an extra grateful prayer thanking God for all He has given me, especially all of you, and the gospel, and the chance to share the gospel with the people here! Please remember to thank God for all He has given you, on Thursday and every day.
Hopefully next week I will have more time to email, and I know I will have a lot more information about my companion, area, etc. Love you all!
