Sister Parslow

Got a new companion for Christmas!

My new companions name is Sister Parslow! She is from Logan Utah!

Being a trainer is the best calling! It's a lot of pressure but I'm really glad my missionary president and the Lord believe in me to do it!

This week has been pretty hectic. Some of my favorite missionaries went home, and then my companion, sister durney got transferred to roseburg. So sad. But my new companion came in from the MTC so it made up for it! :)

We had a trainers dinner and breakfast so that was super nice! We haven't been able to find a lot of new people this week because of the holidays and because of transfers. But we'll hopefully get back into our grove after the new year!

It's been raining a ton! The weather has been nice but the raining season has definatly begun! Haha. Tracting has been funny because you'd think that people would let you into thier homes when its pouring rain but they'll usually just say "stay dry out there!" Hahaha it just makes me laugh everytime. It's the thought that counts though I guess!

The ward members are awesome here! They take very good care of us! We are staked for Christmas dinners and activities! We dont tract tuesday, or Wednesday this week because of Christmas so we are spending a lot of time as a zone together playing sports and christmas exchanges and what not! I'll take lots of pictures!

The members are bombarding us with Christmas goodies. I need to take cover from all the sugar! Hahaha. Fudge, brownies, pumpkin cookies, chocolate chip, pie, shortbread, cake, ice cream. I haven't eating any of it but theres just a pile of this stuff in our kitchen so if your in need of a sugar rush, come on by.

I love this work! I finished the Book of Mormon this week! What an incredible experience to finish it for the first time out on my mission! It's so much more meaningful when you set aside time to truly study and want to learn!

One scripture that really stuck out to me was Moroni 8:3 which says

"I am mindful of you always in my prayers, continually praying unto God the Father in the name of his Holy Child, Jesus, that he, through his infinite goodness and grace, will keep you through the endurance of faith on his name to the end."

This us how I feel for all you! For my family, and friends! I pray every night that we will all remember Jeus Christ and his goodness! I hope you all are seeking him this Christmas season! There is so much joy that come from following his example!

Merry Christmas! And Happy New Year everyone!

It's another great day to be a Missionary :)

Love Sister Mags White
