WOW!!! I literally have no idea where to begin with this week. I guess I'll start from Monday!
Monday night we had a big church tour where we invited tons of people to come and learn a little bit about what we believed and what goes on inside our churches. It went really well even though our attendance wasn't was we were hoping for. It was still a good experience. Then sister Porter and I cried all night cause it was our last night as companions. Just kidding we just shed a few tears.
Tuesday was HECTIC. I pretty much was driving people around all day getting people to their new areas because I was waiting to pick up my greenie and needed someone to be my companion! We also had lunch at this amazing place on Vista called the Yellow deli! It was so good 😍 then I finally got to go pick up my greenie from the mission office!! Her name is Sister Eyre, she's from Montana, and she is the cutest little ball of energy!!! She is so enthusiastic and excited about everything and such a hard worker!!! I am so excited to be with her!:) then we got back to our apartment and got kinda settled and went to bed.
Wednesday we had a zone greet, they just split our zone so now we only have 16 missionaries in our zone! They are all super awesome though! I'm excited :) then we had a lesson with Izzy and Sister Eyre did so awesome on her first lesson :,) #proudmommoment then we had a nice Valentine's dinner put on by the institute staff! :)
Thursday we had a new missionary meeting with President and all the other new missionaries. It was really good! Then while we were at the mission office, they told us that we GOT A NEW CAR!!!! Our car had passed 50000 miles so they replaced it with a 2018 version!! It's still just a Toyota Corolla but it's way nice and now I get to drive 24/7!!!!!! It's the bessstttt, I LOVE it 😍
Friday we had a lessons with Martha and Izzy!! And lots of running around to get everything ready for Saturday!!
Now the good stuff... SATURDAY FEBRUARY 17TH WAS THE MOST AMAZING AND SPIRITUAL DAY OF MY LIFE. We had such an amazing mission conference with Elder Whiting (a member of the 70), Elder Clayton (the President of the 70) and ELDER UCHTDORF!!!!!! I don't have my notes with me that I took but let me just tell you that the spirit that an Apostle of God brings into a room is indescribable. There are no words to even begin to explain what an amazing experience it was. I am so grateful for the amazing opportunity I had to experience It! When Elder Uchtdorf was leaving he gave a hang loose sign to us hahahaha. Then the craziness continued!! Izzy got baptized on Saturday night!!! It was so amazing and she was so happy!! Saturday was the best day and I wish I could tell you all everything that happened but I'm missing out on fun p day activities now so I'm going to end with a million pictures!! I love you all!!!
