Week 15: I'm Yuri the trainer who trains

First off I hope ya'll understood my Pink Panther reference!!!

Yep guess what? I'm training this transfer hahaha..ha ...he...ahhhhhh
Got a call from president saying that I would be training a new sister from Kiev! Like what the heck I haven't even finished my training! I don't know how I am going to do this, but I know that the Lord has got my back!

Elder Frehner got transfered to Chernivtsi so now half of our district is people from the MTC! Elder Abraham is still district leader! Sister Cherneha and Mitchell stayed together in a companionship! And I'm training!

So it's been fun training, I don't know anything, she doesn't know anything, and we've spent a total of 2 1/2 hours this week getting lost on the bus! So it's been a blast hahaha! But in all seriousness it's been tough, because I feel beyond inadequate, I was already having a tough enough time and then I just got more piled on top of me, but Sister Havriyliuk has been a real blessing in my life.

She love to tell me parables, and she reminds me of madame Zeroni from Holes, I expect her to start singing "If only, if only the woodpecker sighs, the bark on the tree was as soft as the sky." Anyway, she told this parable to me about the boy who came to the old man and asked why we have so many trials in life and why we are constatly surrounded by struggles sometimes. and he took a carrot, and egg, and a bag of tea, and put them in very hot water. He said, "You see boy, sometimes we are put in very hot water (trials, challenges, etc.) and some people are put through trials to have their hearts be softened like the carrot, some are put in hot water to become strong like the egg and take shape, and some like the tea bag are put through trials to be able to help others and make everyone around them better, like the tea that disperses to all the water."

We all go through trials and struggles for different reasons, some to become soft, some to become strong, and some to be able to help others. No matter what the struggle is though, there is always something to be learned from it!

Have a fantastic week ya'll!!!
