Happy Easter Y'all!!

What a wonderful Easter weekend it's been! I'm so thankful for Jesus Christ, and to know that He lives! I hope everyone was able to have a great weekend celebrating Christ's resurrection, it's definitely a time to be grateful😊

The spirit really guides the work. Sister Draper and I had a really cool experience Monday night. So as we have been teaching Frank and Therese, Therese has been progressing towards baptism and Frank has been confused and unsure about what he wants to do. As we were teaching our lesson to Frank and Therese I had the thought that we should watch with them the talk given by Elder Costa at general conference. It wasn't apart of our lesson plans, so I wrote it down in my notes while Sister Draper was talking saying we should watch the talk with them. Her eyes lit up and she nodded. So, we watched the talk with them, and it was exactly what they needed to hear. After we got done watching it, Frank said "so what would I have to do to be baptized with Therese?" We have therese on a baptismal date, but frank didn't want to be on one until now.. the spirit was so strong during this lesson and I think frank is slowing moving forward to baptism, I'm so happy for them! It was cool though because on the way home, Sister Draper told me she had a thought during personal studies to show them that video and totally forgot, she said she was so happy I suggested to show it because it really was exactly what they needed to hear. I know the spirit was working through both me and Sister Draper to get them to watch that video. It's really amazing the things that come out of listening to the still small voice of the spirit.

The stomach flu decided to hit me on Tuesday. Our day consisted of me laying on the bathroom floor. Luckily, it was only a 24 hour thing, and I'm perfectly fine now! I got to watch a lot of really good videos on the gospel library app during the day that never seemed to end. I swear it seemed like the longest day ever. But if you haven't watched the video John Tanner, go watch it right now!! It's a life changer.

Here are some scriptures I really liked this week! Check out 2 Nephi 4:15 and 1 Nephi 19:23. Oh also in 1 Nephi 17 verse 45 talks about how revelation comes as words we feel rather than hear. You hear people say all the time when they had a prompting they had a feeling to do that thing. Trust your feelings, they are the promptings of the holy ghost!

On Thursday we got a call from the mission office telling us they found us a new apartment and we have to be out of our apartment by Thursday. We had to go through 8 years worth of missionary's stuff and get rid of it haha it was a fun time! We were pretty occupied this week with getting everything packed up and ready to be out by tomorrow. Alright donna here's your funny story for the week. So while we were throwing junk away into the dumpsters I realized I accidently threw our car keys into the dumpster... we had to have those keys or else we would be doomed so I had to go dumpster diving to find the keys... haha it was a real good time and we got the keys! Thank the heavens!!

Well as the Kentuckians say "have a blessed day!" Love you guys😘
