Sister Rachel Pankey

The GKLM๐Ÿ’›

Hey y'all!!

We went to contact a woman this week and she literally and I mean literally pushed us off of her porch and ordered us to go talk to her neighbor Steve. In her own words, "no no no go talk to Steve, go talk to Steve." Thank you Sylvia for letting us go talk to Steve, maybe we will catch you some other time.๐Ÿ˜‚ I will miss these kind of moments. Only happens in the GKLM!!

Fourth of July was this week and my American pride was pumping through my veins!! God bless America!!๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ It's been a super stellar week and really everything I needed.

Lately, lots of people have been asking the basic questions:
"What was your mission like?"
"What has it meant to you?"
"What lessons did you learn?"

And so on and so forth.

This mission has never been mine. I have been able to be apart of the greatest work. For the last 18 months, I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with the Lord to allow HIS mission to be accomplished. This is the Lord's work. I know that God has a plan for all of his children. His love is infinite. I have felt his love SO strong as I have been serving his children. The path is brighter than ever before and I truly know following Jesus Christ is the pathway home. There are never enough words to describe how grateful I am to my Father in Heaven for allowing me to experience and feel all the highs and lows of a mission. The time I had to serve as a full-time representative of Jesus Christ has been sacred. I know Jesus is the Christ, the very son of God. Because he stood in my behalf and took upon himself my sins, shortcomings, and sorrows I can take his name upon me and go forward with his strength and become all that he needs me to be.

My heart is SO full! Two years ago, I prayed to find happiness and God led me to the most perfect person. He guided me to find THE person who could give me lasting and eternal JOY! He led me to be apart of the Lord's army and to go forward each day and share with the world, the Lord's truth."God sent His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, into the world so that all of Godโ€™s children would have the possibility of experiencing joy and peace in this world and everlasting life in the world to come with their families" (PMG 61). Jesus Christ is my Savior and with Him I can do all things.

Recently, I found a scripture in the Book of Mormon that means a lot to me. King Benjamin is addressing his people and says these words, "And again I say unto you as I have said before, that as ye have come to the knowledge of the glory of God, or if ye have known of his goodness and have tasted of his love, and have received a remission of your sins, which causeth such exceedingly great joy in your souls, even so I would that ye should remember, and always retain in remembrance, the greatness of God, and your own nothingness, and his goodness and long-suffering towards you, unworthy creatures, and humble yourselves even in the depths of humility, calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come, which was spoken by the mouth of the angel."

I know God is my loving Heavenly Father. I have without a doubt, felt of his goodness, mercy, and unconditional love. I know Jesus Christ suffered and gave his life for me, so I can return to live with Heavenly Father again. I have felt the power of his atoning sacrifice in my life. I know I can be forgiven from the my mistakes. I know I can be given his strength to bear all things. I've felt that and know that his strength and power has carried me to be able to do things I never thought could happen. I have seen my life change and I know that change can happen because of my Savior, Jesus Christ. "God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine son" (The Living Christ).

I LOVE that I was Called to Serve Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. And by serving them, I was able to serve God's children. There truly isn't anything better than that.๐Ÿ’›

I'll see y'all soon!!

Love youinns,
Sister Lauren Ashlee Ludwig
