Hi everyone!!! I haven't made it to Yarmouth quite yet. My transfer
has been delayed until this Wednesday due to doctors appointments and
such. But no worries! I've been in Manchester all week, so that's been
fun! I just want to share two cool miracles that we've seen this week.
So on Wednesday I had a doctors appointment in Freeport, Maine. Which
is going to be a part of my soon to be area. The nurse that took me
back to the doctors room was SO CUTE! Her name is Heather and we got
talking....come to find out that she's a member!! And she's less
active! I invited her to come to church with me and sit with me
because I don't know anyone. She seemed hesitant, but I'll see her
again in a couple weeks because she scheduled my next appointment so
that she would be the nurse that took me back again. So I'll do some
follow up :) the Lord always places you in the right place at the
right time!
Second miracle, on Thursday we stopped at Walgreens to pick up some
medicine. I grabbed a big pack at first, but when we were checking out
I decided to go back and get the smaller pack to make sure that it
worked. When we got back to the checkout line, the lady behind us let
us cut in front of her. And when we were done checking out, she asked
if she could talk to us after. Her name is Alyssa. She should've been
a member, because she knew everything. She had so many great
questions. The sisters have a return appointment to go see her this
Wednesday.
It's amazing to me how the Lord always places us in the right place
and the right time. I love the story of Christ feeding the five
thousand with five loaves and two fish. When we give the Lord
everything we can. Even if it seems meager to us, it is enough for
him. And He will take that meager effort and turn it into something
miraculous.
I love you all!! The gospel is true!
