Subject: Share the Magic With Cox

Hey! I guess it has only been a couple of days since my last weekly... and that one was a long one, so I'll do you a favor and keep this one (fairly) brief haha.

The biggest update I have is that the Christmas lights are on!! Because of Covid, the gates are closed but we have been creative this season and are trying our best to help people have a good experience when they come. We have a couple
of booths set up for Light The World and the Book of Mormon! We also get to do some caroling and sing Christmas songs as people walk by- it is honestly my fav! I love seeing how happy people feel as they stop and listen to us sing:)

This past week we had the pleasure of hearing from BRAD WILCOX! Okay, I literally love him so much, so I was sooo excited! He is pretty well known for his talk "His Grace is Sufficient". If you haven't read it, you definitely should! It
literally has helped me so much on my mission- both with helping people understand grace as well as learning how to apply it personally. Life changer! Anyway, so he came to our mission and talked about...grace!! It was soooo good! I literally took so many
notes and learned so much! He told us that often times we feel confused about grace. We feel like we have to do our part and then Christ makes up the difference. Something he said that I loved was "it isnt about two parts, ours and then his, but it is about
two heart, ours plus his." Grace is a free gift that our loving father proffers us through the atonement of His son, Jesus Christ. We will never, ever repay Him for that- and He isnt asking us to. He is inviting us to receive that gift. It isnt necessarily
all about being "saved", but about being changed and transformed. "We dont want to just get to heaven, we want to become heavenly. We dont just want to live with God, we want to become like Him." Knowing this changes the way we view Christ's atonement and
the reason why we are asked to do so much. It is because Christ doesn't care about the offering, but he cares about the offerer. Grace is about becoming and being transformed as we rely on Jesus Christ. He is the one that makes this possible!

Funny story from this week: okay so I normally dont like drinking soda very much, but sometimes you just need it and when that happens, my go-to is Coke Zero. The other night we were super exhausted and went to one of the little vending
machine areas we have and I grabbed my Coke Zero and was about to buy it. Sister Kakazu asked what the name on the bottle was (ya know like the "share with Megan" sort of thing). Anyway, I flipped around the bottle and it literally said Cox. We literally died!!

DONT FORGET!! Sister Kakazu and I will be doing a Facebook Live Virtual Tour of Temple Square this Saturday at 5 pm MST! We hope you join and invite your friends!

Love you all! Have a great week! Let me know how you are doing! I would love to hear from you!

❤Sister Cox

A senior couple in our mission took us to lunch, my Coke Zero, last pday with my comp:(
