Companion

Hope Broman

Compañera Numero 6

Hey y'all!

I hope y'all are having a great summer! Thanks to everyone who's emailed me, I've loved hearing from you<3

I have a new companion! Sister Hope Broman is amazing, and I love her so much! We are veeeeery similar personality wise-- it's kinda weird honestly haha. I'm just a little louder than she is;) haha, but I love her and she is ready to work hard and we are both ready to get this area MOVING already!!

This Sunday Sister Allen, the relief society president in the Old Settlers ward, gave an amazing lessons on Abounding in Blessings by Elder Renlund. Her question to us all was "Who goes to the Celestial Kingdom?". And she said it was a trick question. I was confused for a minute, but then she said, "Anyone who wants to, and wants to put in the work to get there."

I LOVE THAT.

The Kingdom of God is open to ALL who want to be there, as long as they are willing to do what God asks, and He really doesn't ask much.

Something that I've loved about my mission is being able to promise people things in the name of Jesus Christ as His representative. It breaks my heart that in only 9 1/2 ish more months I won't be able to do that anymore. But, I can now, so I promise you all that God is aware of you. He knows what you're dealing with, and what mountains you're climbing. And I tesitify as a representative of Jesus Christ that Christ is there with us for every step of our mortal journey, waiting for us to merely ask for help. I so testify in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I hope y'all have a great week!! We got a referral yesterday, and have a lesson with him tomorrow. His name is Daniel, so keep him and us in your prayers!

Love,

Sister Arnett
