I have so much to write this week! It was a crazy busy week. We started off with exchanges in my first area, which I didn't think I would EVER go back to. But, it was fun to see all the members and my former investigators
We went to the temple with Emanuel and Zedick and they loved it. My companion got pick-pocketed on the way home, but it's all good, because they passed their interviews. Zedrick also told us that the first time we met him he just said hi to us (b/c we were american.) But, then he had prayed later that afternoon for a sign of where the true church is. 30min he came home and we were at his house teaching his uncle Emanuel. God hears and answers His children's prayers!
We also had an amazing experience with a recent convert who hadn't been to church in 2 months. We got the ward to surprise visit him and do a big family home evening at his house. At the end he started crying while saying thank you that they came. He was feeling unworthy to go back to church, and like no one cared.
It is amazing what showing a little love and care can do to help lift others up. We are the Lord's hands while here on earth. As we ministering and reach out to others I know we will be filled with charity and love for them! I love this quote from Elder Holland "There is no shortage of suffering in this world, inside the Church and out, so look in any direction and you will find someone whose pain seems too heavy to bear and whose heartache seems never to end. One way to “always remember him” would be to join the Great Physician in His never-ending task of lifting the load from those who are burdened and relieving the pain of those who are distraught."
Love you all!

*Well, for all those that were worried about my shoes I found the one, so all it well.
We also had a little encounter with the Bible Baptist church. It was all good though. He asked me, "Are you sure you are going to heaven?", and I told him, "of course I was." And he asked, "why?" I told him, "because I am trying to do what is right and am a member of Jesus Christ's church. Brother, if you would like to be saved too we invite you to read this book, and come to church tomorrow at 1pm." Then, I walked away. He never came to church, but he did leave us alone. haha.
