"Well I can't tell you you're pretty, but you're nice!"

Hello everybody!
This week has been fun since I've gotten to work in two wards! I got to be in the Clarkston 2nd ward with Sister Haight until Wednesday afternoon, when we drove up to Moscow and got my new companion, Sister Hartman!

"Goonies never say die!"
Sister Haight and I had to say goodbye to Sister McNeil on Monday night and it was so sad. There were tears involved, but it turned out okay. She seems to be enjoying her time at home and is already quite busy. We missed her, but Sister Haight and I did good at having fun while doing our missionary work, which Sister McNeil was quite good at.

Orofino
It's been fun to be back in Orofino. We have already been able to talk with a lot of people and there are a few that we should be getting to meet with this week. One of the members in our ward had heard that we didn't have dinner one night because the family had gotten sick, so she texted us and offered to feed us. It was so sweet and we got to have delicious slow-cooker ribs and for dessert we got peaches and ice cream. I also found out on Sunday that one of the members in the Orofino ward has a niece that's in Taiwan and she is companions with Adi! For those of you that don't know, Adi is one of my best friends and her family lives around the corner from me at home.

The Subject Line
While I was in Lewiston, we got to help do a Bible study each week at an assisted living center. On Tuesday we were there with some sisters and some elders and we were reading a few chapters in Matthew. When we were finished, we got up and started saying goodbye, and this one older lady was telling the sisters how pretty we were. She looked at one of the elders that was with us, and then said, "Well I can't tell you you're pretty, but you're nice!" and all of us missionaries had to try to hold in our laughter until we got outside. It was one of the funniest things I think I've heard from someone other than my companions.

Thank you so much for all of your love and support! I hope that you all have a great week!

Love, Sister Karlee Killen
