Week 69: "Let it Snow, Let it Snow! - The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyways!"

Good Morning Everyone! This is Sister Osai, emailing from a snowy part of Canada! So, like the title is saying, let it snow. It snowed so much! And you know it's bad when the schools all get shut down because of how much snow there was! But we still did work. It took us an 30 min one day to shovel our driveway so we could get to church, then we got home, another our of shoveling and then couldn't even park because we had to go to dinner. And when we got back, we had to shovel another hour to park our car into the driveway. So that was fun. :D

So something pretty awesome happened. So I had been thinking about getting a priesthood blessing for a while. And since I didn't do anything get get it, this past Sunday I got this really bad kink in my neck/back and it hurts! Anyways, I got a blessing the next day, (Monday) and I got to hear everything that I needed to hear. The one thing I would like to share is a promise that the Lord told me and I feel like I should share it. So, in the blessing I was told that I have the Holy Ghost or Spirit (can't remember which one he said) is with me. I just have to ask. And that was very big to me because I had been not very good at asking the Lord for certain things. And after hearing that, it hit my brain and now I know it I ask the Lord, things will happen through the Spirit. It already has! :)

I love you all. I love the Gospel. I hope you have a wonderful week!

Sister Osai
