Week 24: Happy Thanksgiving!! (One day early)

Hello everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! Things have been great! Not much snow is seen now which is really nice. But the wind gets pretty strong here, but its bot bad when it isn't a cold day. We've had decent weather lately so that is really nice.

We taught Tyson again this week. We were able to teach him about the Law of Tithing and Fasting. I think it went pretty well! And towards the end, when we were closing the lesson his friend who's home we teach the lessons at, asked him to say the prayer and he did! It was awesome! We are planning on teaching him about the priesthood when we next see him.

It's getting pretty exciting! December 1 Alexis, the little girl we are teaching will be getting baptized! I'm so happy for her!

Last week I invited you all too write down 5 things you are grateful for. How did that go? Let me know! I love hearing for you! This week, I would like to invite you to pray to Heavenly Father tonight and say a pray of thanks for something he has helped you with, strengthen you,etc.. I can promise you that you will feel happier when you do this. How do I know? Well, I know because when I say a prayer of just thanks, I see what He's done for me. How He's helped me. How He blesses me and much more. Will you pray to Heavenly Father and thank Him?

I am grateful and thankful for my loving Heavenly Father. I am grateful that I get the opportunity to serve him in the best way that I can. I am grateful for the testimony I have of the knowledge that Heavenly Father has given us. I know for my self that the Book of Mormon is true. I know we have a Savior, a Redeemer, who is Jesus Christ. I know we have modern day prophets and apostles. I love my family and I am so thankful for all they do for me. I am thankful for all of you who are supporting me and others who are serving their own missions! I love you guys. I do. And I hope you all have a wonder week! I share you this testimony, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

(P.S. if there is anyone who you would like me to pray for, please let me know!)
