Dear friends and family,
Howdy! This week has been a great week! Our district has been focusing on finding three new investigators every week because that is a standard of excellence in our mission. Together we all planned to be out finding from 3:30-4:30 and Sister Kirkby and I had a great miracle! We met Jeryl and Connie who invited us right in (during the bitter cold I might add haha) and as we were sharing the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Connie was on the edge of her seat and was so excited to hear about some one actually seeing Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ! It was so good to see Heavenly Father helping us with our goals! We will be seeing Connie and Jeryl on Tuesday!
It's definitely not warm outside :) All I'm going to say :)
We also got to go to Eric Green's baptism! He was an investigator of mine in Spotsylvania! After the baptismal service he thanked everyone for coming and said that he felt about two hundred pounds lighter than he did when he woke up that morning. That's when my heart strings got a real big tug! I am so grateful that the Lord has called me to this mission, to meet and help these people who have changed my life. More than anyone, I feel that it is Jesus Christ who is changing my life. I love studying about Him and then going out and trying to serve as He did. I know it's only because of Jesus Christ that we can all have that renewed feeling!
We haven't been able to see Amanda and Scott quite yet, but have faith!
I just want you all to know how much I love this gospel, the gospel of Jesus Christ! Even though I was raised to believe in Jesus Christ by some really stellar parents, I am so grateful to see how Jesus Christ is shaping my life! I know Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He has given everything for us so that we can have joy and pure happiness!!
If there is anything I can do for any of you don't be afraid to let me know!
