A giant centipede attacked my face......

Well this week was So weird but so stinken good! It was our first week (and last week of the transfer) of the intire transfer where we were actually together and we did normal missionary work! And man MIRACLES. We added and intire family and taught the first lesson and they want us to come back and continue teaching! And we added the cutest 17 year old girl who came to church with a family in our ward!
First I'll talk about the incredibly dumb thing that happened this week. First last tuesday night after coming in there was the FATTEST centipede looking creature I have ever seen. It looked like a giant worm but it had a trillion legs. I bent down to take a picture and this thing went in to defense mode and like arched it's back and raised its mighty head to the sky and waved it body back and forth. It was a sight to be seen. Anyways I walk inside and looked in the mirror and my face broke out into EXTREME hives. It got so much worst the next day. We called the nurse and went through things I ate and what we had done, and we sent a picture of the bug and she came to the conclusion the creature sprayed some sort of something at my face when it went into defense mode. Man the next day I just layed in bed all day with a cold rag on my face and had a fan blowing. It sucked but I'm alive and the bug IS DEAD. lesson learned, dont stick my face by strange looking bugs.🤷🏼‍♀️
Anyways Miracles! The Jenkins family are the bomb! The 17 year old son brought his friend Melonie to church and she came to young womens! That same morning we randomly last minute got asked right after sacrament to teach the lesson for the older girls, which happened to be the same class the melonie attended. Coincidence I THINK NOT. she had the coolest comments and after we sat down with her and asked if she wanted to learn more and she said thats why she came! People how cool! Invite your friends! You never know who may be interested and you might just change their life!
Tonight was so stinken cool. Everything seem to be falling through and we were so frustrated. We made cookies for a bunch of people and we dropped them off at their doorsteps with a nice Thanksgiving note. Anyways we were way ahead of schedule since our lessons fell through. We were driving to our last house when we saw 2 cars with a couple guys lookin in the hoods. We asked if they needed help and we said we would go get our friend (Sister Jenkins down the street) to help! We helped them push their car out of the street and help them get their car fixed. We started talking and we told the guys who we were. They were so appreciative of our help and they said they would like to meet with us! As we drove away we realized we never would have met them or seen them if our schedule went the way as planned. That's how life works! Things dont always go the way as planned, but that is because our Heavnely Father has something better in store for us. It's been such a cool week to see all these miracles happen, and see members be so involved with them. Also how cool is this we are currently teaching 12 people and 9 of them are under the age 18. WHAT! My whole mission I have never been close to teaching this many people, let alone teenagers and kids. It's been so incredible to see the hard work pay off.
I love this gospel so much, and I'm so greatful to be on my mission. Crazy that another transfer flew by already. So excited for another one and to stay with my amazing comp! Now back to our trainings and exchanges! To kick off the transfer we got 5 trainings this week and 20 new missionaries coming in tonight! Got our hands full but so excited! Love you all so much! Have the best week ever!
Love always,
Sister Babb
