Hola!
WOW! what a week! I just need to start off by saying...IM NOT A GREENIE ANYMORE!! Yep, Im just a regular ole missionary now! Now time for some sad news... Im not with my mom of the mission anymore :( Hermana Jones got transferred to parana to be a sister training leader! We were super sad to get the call that we werent going to be together anymore, But I am so excited for her she is going to do amazing things in Parana. My new companion is Hermana Tinsley! She is from California and she has 8 months on the mission. I am excited, I think we will be good!
This past week was a tad bit crazy with Hermana Jones saying her goodbyes. It made me realize how much the people here really love hermana Jones and how much they have learned from her. The past couple days Ive been thinking about the things Ive learned from her and I thought I would share:
1. Charity and Love for the people is KEY.
2. There is always a reason to smile, even in the toughest of times because "opposition puts us toward what the lord wants us to be"
3. Having gratitude towards everything makes the biggest difference!
"And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more." Doctrine & Covenants 78:19
4. Cooking isnt thhhhhaaattttt hard!!
5. The opportunity I have to be a missionary is amazing, I need to make every second count!
I am so grateful for the 3 months I had with Hermana Jones, and I am so excited for this next transfer I have with Hermana Tinsley! We have our open house for our church this weekend- should be good! I hope all is well at home and that you all have a super week. LOVE YOU ALL!!
