Sis. Simmons

Week 5

Hello! This week has been crazy busy. Sister Simmons and I have been working hard, and it is already paying off! I have been able to see the Lords hand in my life greatly this week as we have listened to the spirit and have been able to reach out to the right people and knock on the right doors. We have started teaching 3 new people this week and have contacted almost everyone who has expressed Intrest to the past missionaries. Every Tuesday and Thursday we go running with this cute girl Gabby, shes 15 and hasn't been active in church, she went to church yesterday and she bore her testimony! It was so amazing!!

This work is amazing and cannot be done without the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. The book of Mormon is a powerful tool to the people we are teaching, and to myself. Reading from it daily has brought me so much peace. I learn something new every day- there is so much to gain from it. It has so much power and is the word of God! I love being able to provide people with this same knowledge and happiness that this gospel has brought me! We already have a girl Hailey with a baptism date, in April!

Texas is almost as great as the members here, we get fed every night and they give us groceries! 2x this week a family randomly came by at night when were getting ready for bed and brought us food. Its a good thing we go running!
The weather though is wild. It's been colddddd. I'm so grateful that we have cars! In my district only us and the district leaders have a car. Everyone else just has bikes.

I love each of you, and hope y'all are doing great! Ive been praying for y'all :)! Be strong and have trust in the Lords timing. He has so much in store for each of you and loves you beyond measure. ❤ Find peace, strength, and comfort in him.
Alma 26:12
"I will not boast of myself, but I will. boast. of my God. For in his strength I can do all things"
